Originally from Orlando, Florida Dr. Kessler is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician with a Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Kessler is a dedicated and versatile Chiropractic healthcare provider with extensive experience for prevention, care and rehabilitation of injury. In addition, Dr. Kessler is nationally registered with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians credentialed as a Certified Chiropractic Sports practitioner, satisfying all National requirements. He holds a further credential with the ACBSP sitting on the national registry for Concussion injury in sport.
Dr. Kessler was a Florida all-state Football player recruited by the University of Central Florida out of High School 2002. He attended general studies at UCF before transferring to the University of Kentucky earning a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science. While at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Kessler was a scholarship punter and active member of the Football team where he garnished a bowl ring win in the 2007 Music City Bowl Championship. It was after this experience Dr. Kessler learned the importance of whole-body performance, health, and rehabilitation, generating his passion for Chiropractic Medicine. Upon graduating University of Kentucky, and much motivated by his brain impaired sister Katherine, Dr. Kessler served a low-income middle school in Ocala, FL as a teacher for exceptional student education where he found an affinity for less privileged children and families of all socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr. Kessler utilizes adjusting techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Arthorstim/Activator, Flexion Distraction and full body extremity adjusting. Additionally, Dr. Kessler is certified by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) in the Webster Technique. He is passionate about Physical Therapy and is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). Dr. Kessler utilizes techniques such as Myofascial Release (MFR) and Peripheral Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) to mitigate the effects of both acute and chronic soft tissue pathology. In addition to Chiropractic care, Dr. Kessler previously served as a Neurological Testing Specialist with an emphasis on cognitive function and recovery pre and post-concussion.
Dr. Kessler and his wife built, scaled, and sold Quest Chiropractic in New Smyrna Beach, Florida where they served over 1500 active patients locally. Dr. Kessler dedicated much time and effort toward health in the local community, providing his time personally to the mayor's fitness Challenge and other local health initiatives. Dr. Kessler and his wife provided free care to Military Veterans through the national program Patriot Project. Locally Dr. Kessler and his wife sponsored all sports teams and area growth projects. After being called to the west coast for stability and professional growth, Dr. Kessler has dedicated his time in practice toward personal injury motor vehicle cases and local professional athletes.
When not at work Dr. Kessler enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and business partner Dr. Kylee Kessler whom he met in school and their adorable one-year-old son Owyn. Dr. Kessler is a dedicated husband, father, small business owner, marathon distance runner, and iron man hopeful. He enjoys any outdoor opportunity to challenge himself and push the body's boundaries.
Dr. Kessler is a Christian and attends church locally with his family in St. Pete, FL.
